I was in a bad mood when I ate here, let me just start with that. Otherwise, I'm sure the food would have tasted just fine. Had a chicken Homewrecker and all in all... A-OK. I like the mild salsa best, but it's cool that there's other choices! I like that the rice isn't boring like Qdoba's. The chicken is a little bland, but everything else going on sort of makes up for it. That burrito is HUGE!

First, allow me to say I am a Chipotle junkie. No one does it like Chipotle. But the guys at Moe's are super solid. Friendly welcome as we walked in, greeted with smiles as we ordered, and served quickly with pretty fresh ingredients. Price for family of six - $20. Wifey and I shared and kiddos got kids' meals. They have a good setup with the menu hugely displayed on the wall at the start of the line. Kids meals were nicely packaged with burrito/taco, a side of chips and soda for $3.50. Burritos for the adults are build your own like Chipotle, but ingredients were sub par comparatively. Got a side of queso for our chips, which was delicious and fresh, not that fake crap Velveta. Could've had more for the price, though. My 8 year old son said, "this is the best taco I've ever eaten!". I wouldn't go that far, but the kiddos were stoked on the joint for sure. Quirky signs with humor about burritos made for interesting conversation, tv's for ESPN updates and good environment for family eating, very affordable prices. Would go again, for sure.

Had a nice little lunch there today. Very tasty, friendly, and fast.

This place seems like it's trying to fill a non-existent niche between Qdoba and Chipotle by allowing an even larger (and some times more odd) selection of toppings and strange menu titles (with Seinfeld references such as "Close Talker") that are more confusing than clever. The food is decent though, but somehow the whole thing didn't work for me.

Average food-if you like QDOBA you'll like this ..come early cause if you come late the food isn't that fresh

I don't have a problem with the Moe's franchise in general (I think), but I haven't been to the one in Glenwood Springs (I live here) in a year and a half and will never go back. They participated in a fundraising campaign for the local high school football team. One of their offers was a single use buy-one-get-one coupon that expired 7/31. I went there in FEB with a friend, got to the cashier, and was told they were no longer honoring that coupon. I protested and said it was valid and she said something about there being a mix-up and they would not honor it. I was dumbstruck at a local business taking so little responsibility and basically ripping off anyone who bought the coupon. I left my number with a request for the owner to call me and he never did. So there you have it. Today, my wife went there for lunch and the cashier was very rude to her for the second visit in a row so I'm thrilled to say we are a Glenwood Springs Moe-free family! Of course, if the policy to not honor those coupons was dictated by the franchise, my apologies to the local Moe's owner, despite the fact he didn't call. Either way, obviously, I'm done with them, though.

The food here is great, even for a vegetarian like me. The menu option have an indication of what is vegatarian, which is really helpful. The food that you get is very good, and I really like it. Most of the options will definently get you full. The food is also very cheap. With some coupons, me and my mom both got dinner for $9 total. The staff here are very nice, and say "Welcome to Moe's" as you walk in. It only takes a few minutes for the food, and you can choose what you want. The bathrooms are clean, just like the rest of the place. This place has lots of deals, you just have to find them. I also like the artwork and plays on words throughout the restraunt. Also worth noting is how good the iced tea is. The TV's aren't great for watching a game, etc. but they work. My only real problem with this place is it's salsa. I know plenty of people who love it, but I for one dislike it. It's probably just me though. I would highly reccomend it.

The food at this Qdoba styled restaurant is nothing less than spectacular. While it feels like your general Qdoba or Chipotle, it exceeds normal expectations with an aray of flavors that the major chains don't offer. My choice was a steak burrito with rice, black beans, steak (which , just so happened to be absolutely amazing), grean chili sauce, cheese, and sour cream. The perfect meal for lunch or dinner. All burritos are served with chips as well.

Great little lunch and dinner spot with cheap quick food. Yup. That pretty much sums this place up. The food is good and the prices are cheap. Set up somewhat like a cafe rio or a chipotle, although in my opinion the flavors here had more depth and nothing was greasy. Minus one star for the lobby. There were tons of dirty tables and garbage on tables. I would try this place again for a cheap quick lunch. (They also have a full bar)

It would probably be really good if we hadn't been rushed through the line to help a large party behind us. Food was decent, much like Chipotle/Qdoba. My boyfriend ordered a sriracha stack, it came with absolutely no sriracha on it. Staff behind counter didn't know what things were when I asked for clarification. Might come back on a day there aren't twenty thousand people traveling through town at the same time, but not a MUST stop for place.

If you have eaten chipotle ever do not go here, you will not be satisfied. If you haven't eaten chipotle ever, wait. It is more worth your while to wait than it is to go here and get the microwaved burrito version. Rice seriously tasted like microwavable rice and salsa tasted like it was fresh out of a cheap jar.

This location almost never has a clean table but I love the food, I used to eat at Moe's all the time when I was in college in Georgia. I was so excited to see one in my small Colorado mountain town. Just get those tables cleaned guys and I will feel a lot more WELCOMED AT MOE'S!

Why is this the only Moe's in Colorado? This almost brings a tear to my eye. Forget Chipotle, forget Qdoba- Moe's is where it is at! I have been a long-time fan of Moe's since my first consumption of their delightful queso in early 2005. I was lucky enough to have a Moe's within at least an hour of my home until moving to Denver. Now, the closest Moe's is almost 3 hours away in Glenwood Springs. Very sad. Moe's Southwest Grill is awesome. They serve ONLY high quality ingredients. They take pride in their all-natural, cage-free chicken; steriod free, grain-fed pulled pork; and their grass-fed, 100% sirloin steak. They make all their salsas, marinades, chips, and guacamole in house. I can't rave enough about Moe's. I love their salsa bar full of fresh salsas varying in spice level. I especially love their queso which they make themselves as well. I add in fresh jalapenos and it is perfect. Their Billy Barou Nachos are my staple dish. The hubs prefers their steak quesadillas with jalapenos, cheddar, queso, and their rock n roll hot sauce. I highly recommend stopping my Moe's if you are in the area. Please support this awesome business. BRING MOE'S TO DENVER!

A Chipotle wanna be. Really nothing to write home about. The carnitas were greasy too. Not going back.

Decent enough food. Definitely not authentic mexican, tables a little dirty and staff was a little stiff when greeting customers but yeah I would come back again.

Best QUESO DIP IN AMERICA! The steak is tender and not grissly like a lot of other Mexican places. Big free salsa bar no extra charge. Frozen margaritas cheap and rock! Cheap prices for high quality.

Good food, reasonably priced, fresh ingredients. You get chips with your burrito :-) Similar to Qdoba.

Stopped here as we were passing through. The food here is good, although they have so many options that it is hard to decide what to get that will make the food taste good. It is like Chipotle or Qdoba and I prefer it to Qdoba, although not as much as Chipotle. The rice was a bit too crunchy on my visit--not cooked quite long enough. They do have all allergen information available and are definitely gluten-free friendly! I wish they could make the chips gfree, that would get another star!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
